For the 2019–20 Hatch Projects Artist Residents, the Chicago Artists Coalition selected nine SAIC alums for its yearlong program. HATCH, the juried program by the Chicago Artists Coalition supports emerging and midcareer chicago visual artists and curators in their development of artistic and curatorial practices. The artists include Ellen Holtzblatt (BFA 1983), Joshi Radin (MA 2018), Unyimeabasi Udoh (MFA 2019), Katie Chung (BFA 2014), Solomon Moore (MFA 2018), José Santiago Pérez (MFA 2015), and Bryan LeBeuf (MFA 2019). Each artist participates in one two-person exhibition and one group exhibition. 

Additionally, the curatorial residents, Fabiola Tosi (MA 2017) and Stephanie Koch (SAIC 2016–18) will organize three exhibitions at the Chicago Artists Coalition.
