Trevor Paglen (MFA 2002) speaks with the Brooklyn Rail about his practice. Paglen currently has work on view at Metro Pictures (September 10–24) in New York. Paglen’s recent photographic work captures underwater locations where tapped cables by the NSA/GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) are semi-visible. Paglen and the Rail discuss themes such as the limitations of vision and the sublime.
