Here are a few logistical and security-related considerations to keep in mind as we celebrate this day with students and their families:
The Commencement Ceremony is a time of celebration, and it is our goal to honor our graduates and their achievements in a safe and respectful manner. While a spirit of joy and enthusiasm is encouraged, we ask that all participants and guests be mindful of each other and display respectful behavior and common sense, and to follow all state and local laws.

Important Restrictions for Wintrust Arena
The arena strongly discourages bags or purses of any kind, except for very specific exceptions. Please visit the Wintrust Arena Bag Policy page for more information. Any bag brought to the arena will be subject to a search. In addition, all guests and students will go through a metal detector as they enter the building.
