Documentation submitted to Student Financial Services (SFS) at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in-person by drop-off, postal mail, fax, or electronic submission becomes the property of SFS upon submitting. Students and families should maintain a copy of ALL documents that are submitted for their own records.
Students and families are encouraged to use SAIC’s MappingXpress electronic document submission option when submitting all Student Financial Services (financial aid or student accounts related) documentation. Use the password chicago1.
All documents submitted to SFS will become SFS property and will not be released or copied in accordance with FERPA regulations. Documentation that is submitted without prior request and/or is deemed unnecessary in determining student aid eligibility will be destroyed by SFS after a period of 10 business days.
