Please join us in congratulating Chloe Cottom the winner of the inaugural John M. Flaxman Library Visual Poetry Contest. Cottom's visual poem "Leech Me" wowed judges with its innovative ability to incorporate String Figures. Cottom is a poet, artist, and musician currently earning her BFAW at SAIC where she is also an active member of SAIC's annual BFAW publication, Mouth. She has been writing poetry since 2011 and is currently working on incorporating her poetry into her experimental sound pieces. She resides in Logan Square.
