Tile reading; "Scientific Illustration"

Work from the Scientific Illustration at the Field Museum (viscom 3921-001) course. Through this course students develop pencil, ink, and watercolor illustrations of animal, plant, and insect species. Along with cultivating a meditative practice of drawing from life using traditional mediums, students learn about common collection methods and specimen preparation from working scientists, and visit behind the scenes at the Field Museum.

Curated by Peggy Macnamara.

Please note the library may have evolving visitor policies as SAIC's Make Together protocols change.
