Naotaka Hiro (b. 1972, Osaka, Japan) lives and works in Los Angeles. He received his Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts in 2000.  Recent notable exhibitions include: Made in L.A. 2018, The Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA, Breaking the Waves, Shane Campbell Gallery, Chicago, IL (2018), Protuberances, LAXART, Los Angeles, CA (2016), A Modest Proposal, Hauser & Wirth, New York, NY (2016) and RSVP Los Angeles: The Project Series at Pomona, Pomona College Museum of Art, Claremont, CA (2015).
