Join us for the launch of the winter 2019 issue of Minding Nature, an environmental journal from the Center for Humans and Nature (CHN). This issue features collaborative artworks and essays by SAIC students exploring Chicago in the Anthropocene, as part of the fall studio-symposium course Anthropocene: The Future is Now. Talks about urban nature and the Anthropocene by Anja Claus and Gavin Van Horn from CHN will accompany student presentations. Complimentary copies of the magazine and refreshments will be on hand.

For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
