BIO:
Janiva Ellis lives and works in New York City. She has had solo exhibitions at Arcadia Missa, London and 47 Canal, New York. Her work has been included in several group exhibitions including the 2019 Whitney Biennial, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; 2018 New Museum Triennial, New Museum, New York; Karma International, Los Angeles; BBQLA, Los Angeles; and Club Pro, Los Angeles. She was granted the 2018 Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant, and the 2018 Stanley Hollander Award. Janiva Ellis is represented by 47 Canal, New York.
