Save yourself a trip to Lincoln Park Zoo and explore our Picture File Zoo! This hidden gem of a collection was started as a resource to help folks find images before the advent of image searching online.
Items are organized using labels, but this arrangement puts images in conversation in new ways. Take time to consider how labels were applied and organized in a physical system by looking at the tags on these items. How would you organize these images differently? How are images today similarly oganized? Consider these questions while you discover more images from the picture files in the cabinet located in the back of the library. They are available for any SAIC community member to use!
