In this work in progress, Emilio Williams uses the folk tradition of latrinalia, or bathroom graffiti, to explore past and present efforts to erase and censor the lives and artwork of men who have sex with other men.
For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
