Bio:

Cecilia Beaven is a Mexican artist currently based in Chicago, pursuing an MFA in Painting and Drawing at SAIC as a Fulbright fellow. She works in painting, drawing, animation and film, having a particular fascination for murals and big scale projects. In 2013 she was commissioned to paint a mural on the border wall between Mexico and the US in Tijuana. Her artwork has been shown in group exhibitions and art fairs internationally. Cecilia has had solo shows in Mexico City, Houston and Chicago.
