John M Flaxman Library is excited to celebrate Black History Month and learn from Marlon T. Riggs' 1991 documentary film which surveys 40 years of blacks on television, parallel to the civil-rights movement.

For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
