This lecture will investigate the role of art criticism in the global south through a consideration of the work of two seminal figures: the New Delhi-based critic and curator Geeta Kapur and the contemporary multimedia artist Vivan Sundaram.
For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
