2022 Art History Senior Symposium

This symposium presents the Art History thesis projects of BAAH and BFAAHT students in a wide range of topics in modern and contemporary art history.

Our graduating BA and BFA students in Art History are excited to present their Thesis projects in the afternoon of May 21. Including a wide range of topics that critically explore what modern and contemporary art history can do in the present day, the symposium will feature student presentations and dialogues with faculty in Art History, Theory, and Criticism. We welcome attendees from both the SAIC community and beyond!

For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
