Bibliodérive is coming back this fall! This event encourages attendees to apply the Situationist International practice of the dérive or “drift” to the realm of research, libraries and archives. Learn more here.

This year we invite the SAIC community to join us in-person for this unique event that transforms the library through situations and individual exploration focusing on the theme of privacy.

Participate in two ways:

  • Join us anytime on 11/10 and use our deck of prompts to explore and use the library in non-traditional ways. Have ideas for prompts? Suggest them here

  • Propose or join a situation, which is a specific performance or project using the collections and/or library space. Propose your situation here, or email us if you want to talk through it more (flaxman@saic.edu). The full situation schedule is updated as situations are submitted - view it here and plan your Bibliodérive experience!
