Professional Interests
My approach is grounded in Client-Centered/Humanistic psychotherapy and informed by Interpersonal and Psychodynamic theory. In my work, I strive to create an environment of respect and compassion where students can feel heard and understood, while also increasing their sense of self-efficacy, motivation, and agency in their lives. My professional interests include outreach, clinical supervision and training, and multicultural competency. Other areas of clinical interest include: narrative therapy, mindfulness, sport and performance psychology, positive psychology, health psychology, treatment of eating disorders/disordered eating, and perfectionism & self-compassion.
