The Sound Department Colloquium Series is a weekly series of presentations by the department’s visiting artists, faculty, graduate students, and invited guests.

Jaap Blonk is a sound poet, vocalist, performer, and composer who explores the voice through acoustic, electronic, improvised, composed, and recorded endeavors, focusing on the voice's linguistic and para-linguistic possibilities.
