Visiting Artist Nadim Abbas will present the lecture "CHIMERA: Memory as Prosthesis"

Nadim Abbas is a visual artist from Hong Kong. His work explores technologies of perception, culminating in the construction of complex set pieces where objects exist in an ambiguous relationship with their own image, and bodies succumb to the seduction of space.

Sculpture graduate students Elizabeth Cote, Kate Gross, and Jairo Banuelos will present their work after the lecture. We welcome students from all departments. Persons with disabilities requesting accommodations should visit saic.edu/access.
