Laura Lamb, Director of Campus Life
Laura is a higher education professional with over ten years of experience in higher education. She received her B.A in elementary education from the University of Dubuque and her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University. Laura has worked in student activities and programming since her time as an undergrad. She has worked at a variety of different higher education institution types, including public, private, large, and small institutions. Her previous experience at an art institution drew her to SAIC, and the creative and passionate students she works with continue to drive her own work experience.

Laura oversees the day-to-day operations of Campus Life. Laura manages the New Student Orientation and Welcome Week experiences for new undergraduate students. She also advises the Student Programming Board and serves as the primary administrator for the EngageSAIC platform. Laura organizes the annual Leadership Dinner, and she supports a grad assistant position, who coordinates two annual art sales for current SAIC students. Laura puts together a weekly Campus Life email to showcase upcoming weekly events. Laura is additionally available to assist any SAIC community member for questions about hosting an event on SAIC’s campus. Laura also serves in the Dean on Call rotation.
