Céleste Cebra

artist profile image

Céleste Cebra’s practice predominantly concentrates on urban space and walking. Working with the medium of photography, Cebra incorporates found detritus, the language of vernacular architecture, notions of the quotidian, displacement, alternative readings of public place and the disruption of the spatial continuum. These materials and themes equip the artist to explore connections people have with the areas they traverse and occupy on a daily basis.
