Norman Teague, an MFA DESOB student, was featured by Metropolis Magazine in their article, Best in Show 2015: The finest objects, lighting, furniture, and textiles shown at design events around the world this year. The article showcases Teague's Plank Sinmi Stool which he designed as a student in AIADO's Milan Studio course, whatnot. The birch plywood and rubber stool plays on the traditional American rocking chair to create an innovative perch for temporary respite.
For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
