Topographies of Defense brings together Chicago-based architect Mordecai Scheckter
of Ross Barney Architects and architect and critic Andrew Santa Lucia for a roundtable discussion around issues of public and private space, and the implications of defensive urban design. Stemming from the collaborative research project of the same name, led by Michael Rado, Louis Kishfy and Frances Lightbound, this event accompanies an exhibition in the LeRoy Neiman Center Gallery
(March 05 - 25, 2016).

For more than 155 years, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars.
