Eli Bensusan is a designer whose work questions the purpose of the methodology of design. Various concepts like "meaning," "poetry," "eternity," "immortality" and "politics," are embodied in utilitarian objects, shifting function from utility towards a statement. The lecture will be on the same day as the commemoration of a Turkish child who was shot during the Gezi Park Protests in Turkey and whose tombstone is designed by Bensusan.
