This conference encourages inquiry into the role of architects in responding to and crafting contemporary understandings of citizenship and belonging. The event is organized by the School’s chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS), with support from faculty advisors Ellen Grimes and Ann Lui. A series of 20-minute roundtable discussions between CAB participants and other Chicago architects and SAIC students will be run throughout the afternoon.
