The Gene Siskel Film Center's Panorama Latinx programming and outreach initiative is pleased to announce its first-ever short film showcase, CORTADITO. Selected from over 40 submissions, this compilation of works celebrates Chicago-based Latinx and Afro-Latinx filmmakers hailing from countries such as Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina, and working in a variety of genres and formats, from documentaries and narrative to animation and avant-garde.
Ticket-holders are invited to a reception after the screening.
