ABOUT

"I want to create art that will make people think, that will make people question what they believe in and what they refuse to acknowledge. The world we live in today is full of ways of escaping the horrors and affairs that are happening all around us on a daily event. I feel it is necessary to bring these issues up in a way that people can reflect and try to understand how this affects them. It is easy to create pieces of work that are beautiful and have no meaning behind them, I choose to create from how and what I feel. I want to shock and inspire people. To think, feel and get involved, simply by viewing my art."

Noelle Sharp is currently a student at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work includes painting, print making, collage, artist books, mixed media designs and fiber materials.
