I often worry about why I should make art.
I mean I don’t even know what art is.
So one day I decided to do some research and think it through.

Dictionary: Art is the product of human creativity.

That’s a bit unfair isn’t it?
Why are we the only animals that can make art?
Art isn’t limited to the product of humans,
Birds sing, dance and even sculpt nests.
Animals even have smell artists such as dogs.

Art is not limited the product of creativity.
It is something that makes you think.
Respiration is an unconscious action.
You may put creativity into a breath, but no creativity is required.

Respiration invokes the trees that grant our constant needs, breathing.
Respiration invokes the Olympic runner who won a gold medal, panting.
Respiration invokes the mistakes of war, the people sighing.
Respiration invokes the thought that garlic is bad for your breath.

Respirations stands for what we can all do.
Therefore there is no point telling you why I make art,
If technically I am constantly making art.
