I was born in Indianapolis, but was raised for the majority of my life in northern California. I graduated form the Davis School for Independent Study in 2009, and currently am working my way towards my BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Other education includes California State Summer School for the Arts 2006, San Francisco Art Institute Pre-College program 2007, and the Rhode Island School of Design Pre-College program 2008. My first solo show was at Primary Concepts tattoo studio in Davis California from July 2009 to January 2010. My artwork is a response to the of the pressure constricting around artists in the 21st century to produce art that is consistently raw to push the limits of conceptual art. Painting is my life’s passion working continuously to enhance my technical skills along with my views on human interaction with themselves. Growing up in a world of people lost and confused about where they are and where they are going. Portraits I have done are of people whom I’ve have had some periscope view of there internal conflicts.
