On-Line Co-op Orientation

Introduction

If you are unable to attend an in-person Co-op orientation, you may complete the online version.  The online version consists of 1) an Orientation pdf and 2) an Orientation Quiz.  All students must either attend an orientation in-person (dates and location listed to the left) OR complete the online orientation here. 

Things to know BEFORE you begin

Who can participate in the Co-op?
Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students are able to participate in the Co-op Internship Program during a Summer, Fall, or Spring semester.

When should I start the Co-op process?
Attend an orientation in-person or complete the online orientation one to two months before the beginning of the semester you intend to do an internship.

For those students who are considering internships beyond Chicago (usually summer), this process should be started earlier.

How do I go about completing the Orientation Quiz?
In order to pass the quiz successfully, please read through the Online Co-op Orientation [PDF]thoroughly before completing the online quiz.  The link to begin the quiz is available below.

What happens after I finish the Orientation Quiz?
Once you have read the Orientation Packet and completed the quiz…

If your answers are correct: You will be emailed an application to complete and return to the Co-op office via email.  The Co-op office will then call you to set up an appointment.

If your answers are incorrect: You will be asked to review the Orientation Packet and retake the quiz.
