Twenty student artists will be selected to create murals on the 2nd floor windows of Hostelling International Chicago, 24 E Congress Pkwy, honoring the life and work of Dr. King and the continuing struggle for social justice today.

A panel of judges will evaluate the artwork and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to the students whose works best represent the spirit of the exhibit.

Submission Process: Students must submit a portfolio of up to 10 images of recent work along with the submission form in person or by mail by October 31, 2014. Portfolios may be submitted in person at the hostel or electronically to:

Each year, local student artists create murals that are painted onto the second floor windows of the hostel. The exhibition, entitled "Until Justice Rolls Down Like Waters," is a consideration of the continuing work for justice and racial integration today. Join Hostelling International Chicago for a free reception where you can meet the artists. Light refreshments will be served.
