I construct emotional and poetic narratives. I create symbolic characters and objects that are both personal and absurd. I engage in handmade processes such as drawing, animation, and printmaking, combining them all to into a detailed space.
My work moves between the physical and the emotional, and expresses feelings of repression, despair, ecstasy, indignation, and the conflict between impulse and suppression.
My characters are childlike and imperfect—
a robot builds an airship looking for a new place to live
a rubber chicken who can only express himself by screeching
Fragment. Impermanence. Psychological.
