Reflecting on my adolescence in Texas, I reference an abstracted coming-of age-narrative that is simultaneously biography and fiction. Through the mediums of print, collage and the language of personal memoir, I mine images from mass-produced ephemera, combining them with my own photographic experiments in order to relay ongoing accounts of a melodramatic, queer mythology.
