CV Peterson is an interdisciplinary performance artist residing in Chicago, USA. They received a BA (2010) from Gustavus Adolphus College in Japanese studies and studio art, a BFA (2014) from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). CV studied sumi-e painting at Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata-shi, Japan; followed by an apprenticeship at Moeller Bronze, Ltd. They are currently pursuing their MFA (2016) in Performance Art from SAIC.

CV is an active member in Chicago's local and international performance community. Most recently performed at Out of Site Chicago, Chicago, IL and The Performance Arcade 2015, Wellington, New Zealand. CV is a two season participant at Make Art + Thrive: Buena Vista Art Residency, Buena Vista, Georgia, USA.
