I am an interdisciplinary artist specializing in performance, video, sound, creative writing, and multimedia projects that blend pop culture, classical tragedy, and fictionalized autobiography. I use a pastiche-driven practice to draw on through-lines that resonate across diverse source material, often exploring issues of mass media, violence, sexuality, mental illness, and commodification of the self in contemporary capitalism. I am based in Chicago, IL, and Los Angeles, CA. In teaching, I aim to inspire students to approach all cultural content with enthusiasm, criticality, and an awareness of intertextuality.
