Patty Suzanne Petelin
Experience at SAIC
SAIC is many things. For me it has been a challenge and a delight. I am honored to be part of a community that actively practices interdisciplinary inquiry and that seeks to teach one how to uncover what it is one already knows.
I am a writer and a teacher. My work has been seen onstage with Chicago's Curious Theatre Branch, online in Wigleaf and SmokeLong Quarterly, and forthcoming from Atticus Review and The Collagist.
I am turned on by work that reveals an active mind in process, and because of this I am increasingly engaged by hybrid forms. Lately I find myself under the influence of French philosophy and the smell of wet sidewalks.
