Martin Klaeschen, Full-time Visiting Artist, Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects (2013). Klaeschen graduated from La Escuela Polytecnica Superior D'Arquitectura De Barcelona, Spain (1998) and is currently a PhD., candidate at the College of Architecture and Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology (expected May 2014). Some of his most recent lectures include, "The Breathing Passive House" at the Chicago Center of Green Technology (2012) and the "Sensation of Mass" at the School of the Arts Institute Chicago (2013). In addition to his lectures, he has recently been published in Chicago Magazine's Home and Garden Section (2013) and in the Wales School of Architecture Journal for his "Post-Industrial Transformations" (2013). Amongst Klaeschen's accolades, he has been the first prizewinner in the Eckhart Park Conpetition (2012) and has received recognition by the Chicago Architecture Foundation as a featured Chicago architect for his Reconsidering an icon exhibit (2012–present).
