Martin Klaeschen, Full-time Visiting Artist, Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects (2013). Current PhD candidate, and Diplom-Ingenieur (equivalent MA), 1998, Brandenburgische Technische Universitaet, Germany. Concurrent positions: Principal, HouseHaus. Co-President, Chicago Architectural Club. Awards: Erasmus Fellow, La Escuela Polytecnica Superior D'Arquitectura De Barcelona, Spain; Fulbright Scholar, College of Architecture and Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago; First prize, Eckhart Park Competition (2012); featured architect for Reconsidering an Icon exhibit, Chicago Architecture Foundation (2012 to present). Lectures: "The Breathing Passive House," Chicago Center of Green Technology (2012); "Sensation of Mass," School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2013). Publications: Chicago Magazine's Home and Garden Section (2013); Post-Industrial Transformations," Wales School of Architecture Journal (2013).
