In 2009, she developed an art therapy program at an alternative high school for adolescents with severe social, emotional, and behavioral issues. Jackie is passionate about advocating for youth, harm reduction approaches, inclusive community art studio practices, and about reducing stigma and raising awareness around mental health issues. A background in film critique and digital video production has led her to explore the current language, processes, approaches, and ethics surrounding digital media and modern technologies in art therapy practice.
