Bachelor of Fine Arts

About My Co-op Experience

A large portion of what I do is to research contemporary working artists and arts organizations. This contributes to maintaining a website and data for local artists and patrons. I also help organize and install gallery openings, design marketing materials for events, and develop future design strategies.

What I Learned from My Co-op Experience

Working for ArtBarcs has affirmed that this type of work is what I would like to do in the future. Interning has given me the confidence and understanding I need to continue, and I can now more easily envision myself in management-type situations.

About the Employer

ArtBarcs is a company founded in 2010 dedicated to creating “the world’s largest library of living artists’ work.” The information will be presented in searchable databases for art lovers and art buyers with the ultimate goal of helping connect artists with a global audience of art-lovers who many want to purchase work.
