In Contemporary Practices, you can access anything you need to make everything. The Department of Contemporary Practices has a dedicated Instructional Fabrication Shop staffed by skilled technicians and artists to provide advice and training. The Shop provides traditional hand and stationary power tools alongside a range of digital output methods including 3d printing, plotter cutting, digital embroidery, and physical computing.

Contemporary Practices also has a dedicated Media Center. Interested in making work that uses lights and cameras, sound and video? You can check-out industry standard equipment for use in all of your projects.
