Summer 2013 Kurtich Scholars Announced

Created for SAIC through a generous gift from the estate of beloved SAIC professor and scholar John W. Kurtich, the John W. Kurtich Foundation Travel Scholarships advance student opportunities to participate in international study programs.  Each scholarship offers 5,000 to cover tuition and travel expenses. Representing seven SAIC degree programs, the Summer 2013 recipients will travel to Canada, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Prague, and Scandinavia on seven different trips organized by SAIC. Recipients include; Zoe Burchard (BFA 2015), Marta Calvinho (M.Arch 2014), Mark Kamish (BFA 2013), Charlie Klecha (M.Arch/Int.Arch 2014), Kristofer Lenz (MA 2013), Yang Li (M.Arch 2015), Alyssa Moxley (MFA 2014), Emma Pryde (BFA 2014), Sarah Rabeda (BFA 2013), Zeke Raney (BFA 2013), David Rueter (MFA 2013), and Chun Shao (MFA 2013).
