Student Contributes to New York Emmy-Nominated Films

SAIC student Raychel Brightman’s (BFA 2014) work on video segments produced for storied New York news outlet, Newsday, garnered her and her team two New York Emmy Award nominations. A division of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the New York Emmy Awards honor achievements in television and advanced media. Brightman served as sound editor for nominated programs Nine Days in April and Long Island's Newest Farmers. She has the opportunity to continue working with Newsday following her graduation from SAIC. The 57th Annual New York Emmy Awards will be announced on Sunday, March 30.
