Stephen Eichhorn Likes Plants and Cats

Chicago magazine spoke with alum Stephen Eichhorn (BFA 2006) about the second edition of his sold-out book Cats & Plants and his debut solo show Stephen Eichhorn: Ceaseless Wheel, which opened at Carrie Secrist Gallery. Eichhorn's collages have “[tapped] into the psyches of oddball homebodies” writes Chicago, and the rise of their interests in all things feline and succulent related. “Plants mean a variety of things to different cultures and people,” the artist said to Chicago magazine, “I like the idea that people tend to project themselves onto plants.”
