The Institute of Contemporary Art announced the winners of its 2015 James and Audrey Foster Prize for promising Boston-area artists. Writer, curator, and performance artist Sandrine Schaefer (Low Res MFA 2016) is one of four winners who will receive an honorarium and funding support for work presented at the ICA. A story in the Boston Globe explains how this year’s selection process marks a shift in the focus of the prize toward performance art and collaborative practices. The Foster Prize Exhibition with its many moving parts will open in April.
