Niko Washington (BFA 2016) is an ace bowler but you wouldn't know it unless you've interacted with him. The artist divulged on painting, reinterpreting the Black exprience, and bowling with his Save Money collective in a recent profile featured in the Chicago Reader. Washington, a Hyde Park native, touched on having a show blocks from where he grew up, "I used to go to summer camp down the street at the Ratner Center, ... It's full circle. It's amazing." His current exhibit, 53 'til Infinity is currently on view at the Logan Center Café at the University of Chicago.
