Delano Dunn, post-graduate teaching fellow in the Departments of Painting and Drawing and Contemporary Practices, was included in the New York Times spring gallery guide article "Four Artists to Watch Now." In the exhibit Phantom Paradise, which is currently on view at the Leslie Heller Gallery in New York, Dunn confronts his memories of the Los Angeles riots in 1992 in new mixed-media works. Speaking of the work, Dunn says “The lesson was to chill, do something more like a memory,” he said. “Don’t try to build this whole new world.”
