New AIADO Director Discusses Upcoming Tenure at SAIC

In a recent interview with Archinect Magazine, Jonathan Solomon, SAIC's incoming Director of SAIC's Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects department, detailed his plans for his tenure at the school. Interviewed alongside other incoming heads of architecture programs at the University of Hawai'i, University of Arkansas, and University of Minnesota, Solomon thinks Chicago is poised to lead another revolution in design and architecture and that "SAIC is perfectly situated to help define and lead this movement. My first priority will be finding ways to leverage the school’s unique characteristics: its scale and flexibility—its institutional relationships and external partnerships—as a center for design relevance."
