Golden Stature re-explores the historical value of the golden statue "The Republic" of the 1893 Columbian Exposition, and reclaims its glory for Woodlawn's current community, revisioning a framework for growth into the future.

Building upon Woodlawn's historical legacy, the essence of Golden Stature is a mixed-use transit-oriented development that provides a foundation for the community to fill with richness and to celebrate the culture and creativity of the South Side. It is a warm place for interaction and communication, reclaiming and transforming the gilded gold of The Republic into a solid gold heart of warmth. Let's rise and shine, Woodlawn!
