Final Presentation of Fall Visiting Artists Program Grabs Media Buzz
Artist Lari Pittman finished the fall season of SAIC’s Visiting Artists Program on November 12, discussing his paintings and works on paper. The subject of several exhibitions nationally and internationally, Pittman has also held solo shows at Villa Arson, Nice, France; ICA, London; Centre d’Art Contemporain, Geneva; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston; and Corcoran Museum, Washington, DC. Time Out Chicago chose Pittman’s lecture in its weekly selection of “Critics Picks” on November 1, and the Chicago Reader listed the event in its weekly art page.
