Film Program Presented with Sullivan Galleries Exhibition Draws Attention

On October 31 Richard Wright of the Windy City Times announced an upcoming presentation of nine short films in conjunction with The Great Refusal: Taking on New Queer Aesthetics at SAIC’s Sullivan Galleries. The exhibition, “which features more than 50 contemporary artists from the school and is dedicated to exploring queerness in today’s subculture,” provides the context for the 65-minute film program. The screening takes place at the Gene Siskel Film Center on Monday, November 5, at 8:00 p.m. and will include a Q&A with featured filmmakers.
